“The high quality of education I received at SWOSU (BA in Political Science, 1995) was a catalyst for my intellectual development and prepared me for graduate school (I received an MPA from OU and am completing my Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City).  Additionally, I was teaching the introductory course in American Government at OU only a year after I graduated from SWOSU as part of my graduate assistantship.  I continue to benefit from the caliber of instruction and mentorship I received at SWOSU in my military and political careers.

I feel obligated to serve and give back to SWOSU through my participation on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  It is a great way to network and visit old friends (several of the members of the Alumni Board are fraternity brothers—Tau Kappa Epsilon).

The SWOSU Alumni Association is a great way to serve our alma mater and assist current and future SWOSU students and build pride in the Bulldog Nation.”
